Welcome to MMBay! Applications are now open for 9th graders.
Qualifications to Apply
Be a current high school Freshman (currently in 9th grade) with priority given to applicants living locally within San Francisco County and Santa Clara County.
Demonstrate financial need Self-identify as low income (priority given to those who qualify for free or reduced lunch and other school benefits, or have a family income under the Very Low or Extremely low HUD income thresholds - San Francisco Income Thresholds | Santa Clara Income Thresholds)
Be determined to go to college Demonstrate perseverance and strong passion for attending a 4-year college, and maintain a 3.0 minimum GPA in high school

January to March Prospective Mentee Info Sessions & Workshops
May Mentee interviews
Applicants will be invited to a 30 minute interview with current volunteers and program leaders
Early June Admission decisions released
July New Mentee Welcome Day
August Orientation and program start
