Applications are now open! Join us.
The Associate Board (AB) brings together 40 to 50 passionate, mission driven leaders who actively shape and support our work. Through hands on collaboration across fundraising, recruitment and selection, and event planning subcommittees, members gain meaningful leadership experience while making a tangible impact on our community.
Membership on the Associate Board spans a range of career stages and professional backgrounds. Early career members gain leadership experience, mentorship, and exposure that supports long term career and graduate school goals, while more experienced professionals have the opportunity to deepen their nonprofit leadership, partner closely with senior leaders, and build a pathway toward future Board service.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through May, or until filled.

About Minds Matter Bay Area (MMBay)
Minds Matter Bay Area (MMBay) is an education nonprofit that connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world. Founded in 2010, 100% of our alumni have been accepted to 4-year colleges, and 100% are on track to graduate from college within 4 years. Our students—compared with similar peers—are 25X as likely to graduate from a selective college that prepares them for career and beyond.
